Discipline doesn’t mean Deprived!

 

Being disciplined doesn't mean you are deprived!

Here's a scenario for you:

You have this friend who is uber disciplined about the way she eats.  When you go out to dinner with her, you see her work to make choices that will honor her body and the way she feels on the inside.  You find yourself thinking she's crazy and totally living in deprivation. 

But, she doesn't see it that way or feel that way!  Not even a little bit!  So, what is the difference for her and the way you perceive it?

She has discovered how to fuel her body in ways that makes her feel good, not bloated or gassy.  Not lethargic or "blah"!  And, she has no issues with making choices that keep her feeling that way.  To her she feels food freedom, has found new ways to enjoy food and feels not one ounce of deprivation.

This week's episode we will dive in to Discipline and how it can look like deprivation but in all honesty, it is anything but!
